The first festival was in 2000.

Come see, exhibit, and ride homebuilt, vintage and custom bicycles. All bicycles types were welcome - yes you can bring your new mountain bike, your old racing bike, or the bicycle your grandfather has in is garage - we'd like to see it. BMX guys - just do it!

The festival includes Festival Food, Music, Bicycle Ride, Bicycle Garage Sale, and Bicycle Competitions.

Sponsors for past festivals have included the Abita Springs Business Association, Abita Brewery, Walmart, 3G Bikes, BikeRod&Kustom, Firebikes, the Abita Mystery House. DeLeon's Restoration, BikeRod&Kustom, ChoppersUS, littleguy.tv (photography), and Sam Lingo
