Driving to New Orleans from the East, travelers would be welcome into the Crescent City area by Chef Menteur Highway (U.S. 90). Before the interstate highway was built, Hwy 90 offered travelers their choice of trailer parks, tourist courts, motels, and bait shops. Here's a few postcards of the 'Chef.'
